Worlds within the Lighthouse World
Lighthouses have a way of enticing our admiring glances skyward. Stately in appearance and possessing a presence magnified by history, we naturally look up to these radiant sentinels of the sea. Their light aglow dwells aloft and has long been held in high esteem by those who seek its guidance. Seemingly everything about a lighthouse culminates to a pinnacle of goodwill above.

Yet much about the essence of a lighthouse is found all around us – even underfoot. Nature embraces our lighthouses, and lighthouses in turn accentuate this living world we hold dear. Though quite distinct from the other, there exists a wondrous kinship between lighthouses and the natural environment that embraces these guardians.
Their lifeblood is the sea and along this leading edge of the bounding main – where the tides rush to and fro, their abodes gleam in extraordinary fashion. A scene so seamless in beauty and intrigue beckons us to appreciate this connection within time and place. Learn from a lighthouse, but absorb the knowledge of nature just the same.
Both shine – all be it differently, but the teachings they impart are lessons of a lifetime. So always look up, down and all around at a lighthouse and be astounded by the worlds within a world!
