The turn of time, for certainly there was a time. A grand time. Today tells me so. My eyes perceive the same, but each bid to recall such glories offers up only vague shadows of a passage departed. Might the tides smirk at such aims, knowing all too well that time must abide upon its rhythm of elusiveness? I wonder, but still I ponder.
